VIDEO: ASSORTED MEAT- EPISODE 1
And my acting side finally comes to life, lol. So I've been working on a web series with a director called Oluseyi who has successfully brought together young individuals living in New York City as roommates to discuss very interesting topics that range from religion, dating, politics and more.
I play Chinedu, a young and vibrant man schooling, working and who is all about living life and enjoying every moment with friends. Oludara plays Lolade and Laolu plays Aminu. On this first episode of Assorted Meat, Chinedu, Lolade and Aminu are paid a visit by Irene played by Toyosi as they engage in a heated argument over the forth coming presidential election.

B*TCH BETTER HAVE MY MONEY- RIHANNA
I like the fact that Bajan singer Rihanna is playing with different types of sounds for her upcoming album which will be titled R8.
She released a second track today with a very interesting title "B*tch Better Have My Money" According to the singer, she says from now on she plans to make music that will be timeless and possibly songs she can perform 15 years from now.
Still can't place my hands on what to make out of this track but I guess it will grow on me with time.
This is a follow up track of FourFiveSeconds which was released in February this year.

Michael Jackson your legacy lives on as you keep resting in peace. Watching this video this morning got me so emotional.
I've come to the conclusion that it's best to live your best life and believe in your truth. People will just love to hate you for it but guess what there are people who will still love you unconditionally, never forget.
This moment in time was at the 18th edition of the World Music Awards in 2006. Love is all we need.

The American Idol judge must have been inspired as she hit up Craig's Restaurant in West Hollywood, California on Thursday for dinner.
Jennifer, 45, donned a comfortable looking, distressed denim jumpsuit that covered up her famous curves beautifully.

KATHY GRIFFIN QUITS 'FASHION POLICE'
There has just been so much drama since the fallout from the Zendaya Coleman fake dreads scandal. Kathy Griffin has just quit as host of Fashion Police just after 7 episodes.
First to flee was Kelly Osbourne after she was initially accused of uttering the "weed" remark.
Griffin, 54, threw Rancic under the bus by claiming she never would have said such a thing. Although the live studio audience said otherwise claiming Kathy was in fact the first person to start the joke.
Kathy had this to say;
“I discovered that my style does not fit with the creative direction of the show & now it’s time to move on,” she wrote.
“I wish E! and the E! team only the best and I hope to continue to make you all laugh performing live or on television where I can be smart, irreverent, unrepentant and unafraid in an observational way that is candid, honest and unjustified,” she added.
Waiting to see who their replacements will be.
LUPITA NYONG'O DATING COMMON?
This is kind of an interesting pair if the rumor mills have some truth in it.
The internet has been buzzing since yesterday with word that rapper Lonnie Rashid Lynn popularly known as Common maybe romantically involved with Oscar winner Lupita Nyong'o
Though nothing is confirmed yet, but it's possible that they are just good friends. Will be on hand to bring you more details as it unfolds.

LOVE & HIP HOP ATLANTA IS A FAKE SHOW- JOSELINE HERNANDEZ
I used to be a victim of all the acting on most if not all reality shows airing these days until I began to see right through all of the "reality"
Thanks to Joseline Hernandez a cast on the gradually dwindling Love And Hip Hop Atlanta reality TV show who has further confirmed my suspicions.
Hernandez is being sued by cast mate Althea Eaton who claims she was injured in a fake fight with Hernandez during a taping of the reunion show last year.
During the videotaped deposition, Hernandez admits the show is fake and that she and her cast mates work off of a script.
Althea’s attorney asks, “Is all or part of the show scripted.” To which Hernandez replies, “Well with reality TV …it’s called reality but it’s a lot of acting.”
She adds: “A lot of the girls that’s on the show… they act. And so it’s a lot of acting in the reality show — whether it’s ‘Love and Hip Hop’ or another reality show.”
Hernandez is asked if she’s acting or if that’s the real her on TV. She admits that the producers showcase “a lot of who we are not.”
I'm really not surprised.

NAOMI CAMPBELL AND CARA DELAVINGNE DEBUNK REPORTS OF FIGHTING OVER RIHANNA
I'm trying to picture this in my head and I can't stop laughing. If this ever happened it would be completely hilarious.
On Monday, the New York Post reported that Delevingne and Campbell had gotten into a shoving match at a Paris Week Fashion Week party for Garage magazine. The alleged fight, said the tabloid, stemmed from a disagreement the two women had over their mutual friend Rihanna.
Both models took to Twitter on Tuesday to say a New York Post story alleging they got into a hair-pulling and shoving match was not true and urged everyone to “ignore the rumors.”
“Don’t know where this story has come from about @Caradelevingne and I fighting!” Campbell tweeted. “It is completely untrue, ignore the rumors XN,” she added. Delevingne also denied that there was any truth to the report, retweeting the 44-year-old model’s tweet and adding “@NaomiCampbell people love to make a drama out of nothing.”

Will racism ever be a thing of the past? It's almost impossible not to be directly involved or know someone who has at one time or the other been a victim of racism.
I recently experienced outright racism at a restaurant here in New York City and boy did I give him a piece of my mind and make him understand we all are humans and we should treat each other with respect.
For these students to chant such hateful racist lines in 2015 then you know minorities and the whole world have a lot of work to do. In the end we all are human with the same color of blood flowing in us. Lets love, respect and treat one another the best way we can as we will all die one day and return to our creator.

I know mothers are always very aware of their surroundings especially when it comes to looking out for their children. Could Kim have been so overwhelmed by the tons of paparazzi trying to photograph her that she left her baby behind? Thank God for her bodyguard who reminded her that she left her daughter behind.

MEET CHRIS BROWN'S BABY MAMA
The only things shocking to me about this whole story is the fact that Nia Amey is or now was Karrueche's very close friend. (Why do some girls do this?)
Anyway Nia is a full time nursing student and aspiring model. She has been raising the nine-month-old child with another man, who has been led to believe he is the father.
According to TMZ Nia has known Chris for several years. Sources connected to both Nia and Chris told the site they are 'on very good terms', however they are currently not dating.
On Wednesday morning Brown's on-off girlfriend Karrueche dumped the singer via Twitter. Read what she said after the cut.
OPRAH CLOSES OFFICE
The Oprah Winfrey empire is crumbling in Chicago. According to published reports, the 61-year-old media mogul laid off 200 employees and shuttered the famed Harpo Studios in Chicago (Harpo is Oprah spelled backwards).
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Oprah is moving what’s left of her conglomerate to her OWN Studios in Hollywood.
OWN (which is co-owned by Oprah and Discovery channel) and Harpo Films on the west coast will absorb some of Harpo’s Chicago employees — the ones who decide to uproot their lives and make the transition to the west coast.
Oprah tells THR she plans to ramp up her acting career, no doubt in an effort to secure an elusive Oscar Award and other acting accolades.

According to TMZ, the supposed lovers put on plenty of public displays of affection - but one of them it seems is perhaps more clingy than the other.
Rumors of a romance between Leonardo DiCaprio and Rihanna have reached fever pitch as the pair have been finally pictured together.
Photos of the duo have surfaced from inside the lush private birthday party he threw for the 27-year-old the week before last.

3-YEAR- OLD BEATEN TO DEATH BY AUNT
It's so shocking some of the things I read about these days. What's the world turning into?
3-year-old Ethan Ali never stood a chance against his aunt who beat him unmercifully with a belt until he died.
Police responding to a 911 call from the Brownsville apartments in Brooklyn, NY, found Ethan unresponsive and limp. His body was covered in bruises and belt marks. Some of his injuries were fresh, but there were signs of old healed wounds on his little body.
Police took 21-year-old Christen “Ninee” Dale into custody on Wednesday but she has not been charged. Dale was reportedly baby-sitting Ethan when he was killed.
Ethan’s grandfather, Leroy Ali, told the NY Daily News that he warned Dale and her boyfriend about beating the child with a belt.
“They did it all the time. They beat him and they beat him. He was always bruised,” the grandfather said. “She beat him with the belt. I told her to stop.”
Ethan’s father, Anthony Ali, and his mother, Natasha Ali, a home health aide, learned of their son’s death when they arrived home separately. The distraught mom was placed in a police cruiser and taken to the 67th Precinct station for questioning. Anthony Ali left the scene in a car after a family member told him his son was dead.
LUPITA NYONG'O's $150K OSCAR GOWN STOLEN!
Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o turned heads in a creamy halter top Calvin Klein gown festooned with pearls at the 2015 Academy Awards on Sunday.
Most stars who attend A-list events are usually dressed by top designers who want their unique, one-off pieces back after the event is over — usually within 48 hours.
But when the gown’s designer, Francisco Coast, got a call from Lupita’s people she thought they were notifying her that the gown would soon be delivered. Instead, Coast learned that the $150,000 gown covered in 6,000 natural pearls was stolen from Lupita’s room at the posh London Hotel on Tuesday.
“We got a call at about 11:30 last night from someone at the London Hotel about a high value dress that was stolen from a hotel room,” Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department Officer John Mitchell told The NY Daily News.
To complicate matters further, Lupita couldn’t file a police report because the gown didn’t belong to her. Klein had to file a report himself.
“It was so much fun to create this dress,” Coast told Yahoo Style. “We talked about it being fluid and liquid. I wanted it to be an homage to the sea.”
The police said it would be difficult to track down a suspect because so many people had access to Lupita’s room — stylists, friends, managers, makeup artists, hangers-ons, hotel maids, etc.
Gossip tabloid TMZ reports police are reviewing hotel surveillance video from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. when Lupita wasn’t in her room.
