IT'S A BOY FOR KIMYE

It's a boy! After announcing her pregnancy three whole weeks ago, Kim Kardashain has finally broken the suspense and revealed the sex of her second baby with hubby, Kanye West. In a very un-Kardashian way, Kim kept the announcement subtle by casually mentioning the baby's sex in Instagram she posted of West and daughter, North, in honor of Father's Day.

"Precious moments like this when we were traveling on tour with you are what I live for," she captioned the photo of the adorable father-daughter moment. "You're such a good daddy to North & you will be the best daddy to our new son too! "

DIDDY ARRESTED ON UCLA CAMPUS

Rapper Diddy was arrested Monday by the UCLA Police Department following an altercation on the campus, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

The music mogul was charged with assault with a deadly weapon after allegedly threatening someone with a kettlebell weight shortly after noon, UCLA director of community relations Nancy Greenstein told THR. Diddy is currently in custody.

TMZ reports that Diddy, whose 21-year-old son Justin is a defensive back on the university's team, was threatening an assistant coach who had been yelling at Justin.

"We are aware of the reports and are looking into the matter," UCLA director of media relations Phil Hampton said in a statement. "We will share confirmed facts when they are available."

CHARLESTON SHOOTER ARRESTED

The suspect who slaughtered 9 members of a Bible study group in Charleston, S.C. has been arrested.

Police say Dylann Storm Roof, 21, of Columbia, S.C. was arrested in Shelby, N.C.
Roof entered the historic black church in Charleston, S.C. around 8 p.m. Wednesday night. Survivors of the massacre say Roof sat in the pews praying with about 12 members of the church for an hour before opening fire.


Six females and 3 males were killed in the senseless massacre on Wednesday night. One of the victims was the pastor of the church and state Senator Clementa C. Pinckney. 12 people were in the church when the gunman entered at around 8 p.m. Wednesday.

Police believe the attack was racially motivated.

ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER PRANKS FANS

I definitely had a good laugh watching this. Especially the part where he tried to grab the phone form the woman taking a picture.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is the King of pranks. The Terminator star recently pranked unsuspecting tourists who thought they were posing with his wax figure at the famed Madame Tussauds in Hollywood.

The cameras rolled as Schwarzenegger’s wax figure seems to come alive and scare the bejesus out of tourists, including one woman who nearly dropped her infant as she ran.
The prank is part of the promotion for his upcoming movie, “Terminator Genisys”.

CHARLESTON SHOOTING: MEDIA OUTLETS SLAMMED ON SOCIAL MEDIA

When will all this violence and sad news cease? My heart is heavy about yesterday's dark day in South Carolina as so many people were killed in a shooting at an historic African-American church by 9pm.

Twitter users are livid about how America's cable-news networks initially reported the Charleston massacre.
Fox News has been criticized for carrying an interview with Donald Trump as the tragic news came out of the South Carolina city. CNN also has been criticized sharply for running international feeds and being slow to respond. MSNBC and the network-news organizations haven't escaped criticism either, with many people on social media feeling that coverage has been slow and lacking.

Actor Rob Lowe was among the most vocal, blasting the media both for taking so long to report the incident and then for failing to relay key facts in what is now being called a "hate crime" by Charleston police. "The media should be ashamed. 3 hours to get on air and then gives detailed suspect description WITHOUT mentioning his race," tweeted Lowe. He followed up by upbraiding CNN producers for continuing to neglect to mention the lead suspect's race.

TYRA BANKS GOES RAW AND REAL

As an instagram lover (covers face) the term "no filter" is something I've seen too many times.

Well as it turns out, Tyra Banks has seen them too, and she's fed up with the posers. The former model brought justice to social media by calling out the fakers, filterers and the obsessive retouchers by posting a "REALLY real" no makeup selfie, which she captioned, "You know how people say #nofilter but you know there's a freakin' filter on their pic? Or maybe there's a smidge of retouching going on but they're lying and saying it's all raw & real? Well, this morn, I decided to give you a taste of the really real me."

The 41-year-old continued, "I wanted to smooth out my dark circles so badly!!! But I was like, 'Naw, Ty. Show 'em the REAL you.' So...here I am. Raw. And there YOU are...looking at me, studying this picture. Maybe you're thinking, 'Whoa, she looks ROUGH.' And if you are, great! You deserve to see the REAL me. The REALLY real me. #RawAndReal"

ABILITIES UNENDING

Some people have asked several times about the speech I gave recently in commemoration of the 25th year celebration of the Americans With Disabilities Act (ADA) that was established in 1990.

Truthfully, I knew next to nothing about the law so in my usual pattern I began a deep research which revealed a lot and gave me a good understanding of all that has been put in place for 25 years to make the US a conducive place for disabled people.

From my speech I'm sure you'll be able to pick one or two things that may inspire you as I speak about the positive impacts of the ADA so far in the US. I have learned a lot and my perception of disability has changed a great deal. It is our responsibility to treat every disabled person with love and respect. In the end we all have one thing in common and it's the life inside of us.

Winning the first prize in this speech competition couldn't have been possible without God, the hard work I put in, my professor Kimberly Raimez who constantly encouraged, taught and gave a listening ear each time I reached out, and of course my good friend Amena Shah who I gave sleepless nights during the recording of all of the speeches before this final selection. Hopefully this inspires you in some way. 

HILARY CLINTON JOINS INSTAGRAM

Presidential candidate Hillary Clinton has joined Instagram, (she knows how important it is to share photos, lol) and already the pantsuit enthusiast has racked up more than 14k followers in only two hours.
The former U.S. Secretary of State's first post features a rack of several wrinkle-free suits in classic red, white and blue, with the caption, "Hard choices."

And based on some of the comments, her supporters seem thrilled about her insta- presence. "Ready for ya!!!!!," writes one user, while another says, "this is the daily struggle Hillary endures. see? she's just like us!! #populism." But the most enthusiastic of all? The repeated emojis of hands in the hair and the smiling face with heart-shaped eyes.

RICK ROSS ARRESTED.

Rick Ross was arrested Wednesday afternoon in Fayette County, Georgia, after a police officer "identified marijuana in his vehicle" at a traffic stop, according to the Fayette County Sheriff's Office. Atlanta's WSB first reported the news, which Billboard has confirmed.

Ross was charged with misdemeanor marijuana possession and a traffic violation. While Billboard spoke to the Sheriff's Office (at 4:20 p.m. ET, no less), Ross was being processed at Fayette County Jail. Given the small nature of the charge, he's likely to make bail immediately.
The Sheriff's Office added that Ross was being "very cooperative" and gave officers no trouble at all. 

Prior to becoming one of the scene's biggest rappers, Ross worked as a correctional officer in Florida.

THE BITTER IRONY ABOUT "GRACE AND FRANKIE" NETFLIX SERIES

I don't know about you but I thoroughly enjoyed watching Netflix drama Grace And Frankie. It's got an interesting twist to it and I highly recommend it.


In a bitter twist of Hollywood irony Jane Fonda and Lily Tomlin, whose 1980 film Nine To Five was an early battle cry in the gender equality movement, are now at the center of a minor controversy.

At a recent Netflix press conference the two actresses revealed that they are not happy with their pay on hit show Grace & Frankie, 35 years after addressing sexism in the workplace in Nine To Five.
Fonda, 77, explained that she and her co-star Tomlin, 75, found out that their supporting cast Sam Waterston and Martin Sheen were making the same salary as them despite not being the stars and even sharing less screen time.


'[Tomlin] found out [Sam Waterston and Martin Sheen] are getting the same salary that we are,' Fonda said at the press conference. 'That doesn't make us happy.'

Tomlin then added: 'The show is not Sol and Robert - it's Grace and Frankie.'
The two stars are also executive producers on the series, which makes the news all the more bitter.

So far the petition has garnered just shy of 9,000 signatures.

I found this speech given by Nigerian writer/feminist Chimamanda Ngozi Achiabe at the graduation ceremony of the class of 2015 at Wellesley College very inspiring. If you're a man I need you to look pass the fact that she's encouraging women to be their best. I believe this applies to each and everyone of us. The moment we start to realize that women have just as much capabilities of ruling this world tagged "a man's world", the better we will all live together giving our very best in all that we do.

IDRIS ELBA ALSO RAPS

Idris Elba is a man of many talents and the latest example is his guest appearance on a British grime track, where he namechecks some of his most famous roles.

The just released remix to U.K. grime artist Skepta's song "Shutdown" features theLuther star guest rapping and among the rhymes he namechecks Stringer Bell, his iconic character from The Wire: "See that Wire? Shut it down/Ain't nobody else selling brown/Ain't nobody else Stringer Bell/Boy from the East End did well."

There's also references to his portrayal of Nelson Mandela from the movie Mandela: Long Walk to Freedom and of course the troubled maverick cop John Luther from Luther.

JANET JACKSON TO RELEASE NEW ALBUM

Remember weeks ago when I posted the "Janet Jackson Missing" photo by her fans? I'm sure there must be rejoicing going on in their camp as Janet Jackson confirmed her next album, her first since 2008's Discipline, will be released this fall via BMG.

The as-yet-untitled album will also be Jackson's first release under her own newly formed Rhythm Nation record label, which Jackson indicated will be open to partnering with "both new and established recording artists" in a press release on her official site this morning. No details on a first single were provided.

Jackson is perhaps the highest profile artist yet to pursue a "label-services" deal with an independent distributor, in which artists retain ownership, costs and revenues of new recordings. Other artists who've recently teamed with BMG include Estelle, Deborah Cox andLeela James, while Prince, David Gray, Nick Cave and the Pet Shop Boys have partnered with Kobalt Label Services in the recent past.

Janet has sold 160 million records worldwide. Will be good to hear her again.

VIDEO: "I AM CAIT" HITTING TV JULY 26

E! has released the first promo for and official title of its upcoming Caitlyn Jenner reality series, which premieres on Sunday, July 26 at 9 p.m.

The eight-part, hour-long documentary series is titled I Am Cait and will focus on Jenner's life as a transgender woman as she embraces a "new normal."

Indeed, the first official promo for the series, which aired on NBC's Today on Wednesday morning, features Jenner declaring "I'm the new normal."

The 60-second clip also shows Jenner putting on her makeup in front of a mirror as she explains how others "never deal with their own issues."
"So many people go through life and they never deal with their own issues, no matter what the issues are. Ours happen to be gender identity," she says. "How many people go through life and they just waste their entire life because they never deal with themselves to be who they are."

Star footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has been consoling himself in the wake of his split from model Irina Shayk with a holiday in Saint-Tropez, France.

The 30-year-old Real Madrid player was seen cooling himself off following a sunbathing session, giving a cheeky squirt of a hose down his swimming trunks.

Ronaldo wasn't shy about getting his friends to help him out in his time of need, asking his close pal Miguel Paixãogiven to oil him up.


Miguel happily obliged when asked to grease up the Portuguese footballer's athletic physique in a bid to speed up his tanning session.

In the two separate videos, Jennifer and co-star Ray Liotta, 60, discussed their dark, complicated characters.

On Shades Of Blue, Jennifer will star as Detective Harlee Santos, described by NBC as a single mother who 'fell in with a tight-knit group of dirty cops.'
She later is trapped by the FBI into informing on her 'brothers' and will 'have to walk the fine line between love, loyalty, honor and betrayal.'
Jennifer explained her character's dilemma in the Shades Of Blue video focusing on Santos: 'Good people do questionable things all the time.'

Jaden Smith escorted "Hunger Games" actress Amandla Stenberg to prom on Friday night, and judging from their Instagram pictures, they were easily the most interesting couple there.

Stenberg, who played Rue in the "Hunger Games," looked super chic in a metallic lamé gown, while Will Smith's 16-year-old son, ever the eclectic dresser, wore what appears to be a black-and-white dress, topped with a black blazer. The 16-year-old actress shared snapshots from the night on her Instagram account.

IGGY AZALEA CANCELS "GREAT ESCAPE" TOUR

If you had plans to see Iggy Azalea this year, the good news is you're going to get your money back.
On Friday, ticket holders for the 24-year-old's "The Great Escape" tour received an email notifying them that all dates had been canceled, reports JustJared:

"The Iggy Azalea Great Escape Tour scheduled for this fall has been cancelled and refunds are available at point of purchase. There will be a new tour planned around Iggy‘s new record to be released in 2016 and we apologize for any inconvenience"

While there was no reason given for the tour's cancellation in the email, this isn't the first snag in the production timeline.

The tour was initially scheduled to start this spring, but in March, Azalea's label Def Jam released a statement saying that the tour would be delayed until September so that the rapper could deliver the show that she "envisaged to share" and would require more time to develop it.

Seems to me that there might be trouble in paradise.

KIMYE SHOP FOR BABY CLOTHES AFTER PREGNANCY ANNOUNCEMENT

One day after announcing they are expecting their second child, Kim Kardashian and Kanye West were photographed out in New York City shopping for baby clothes.

Paparazzi got snapshots of Kimye leaving their Manhattan apartment on a rainy Monday afternoon. Kardashian was dressed in a black T-shirt, gray jeans and black peep-toe booties. The two shopped at kids' clothing store Trico Field on West Houston and got some lunch with Jonathan Cheban at ABC Kitchen.

VIDEO: RIHANNA SAVED BY "UMBRELLA"

I believe yesterday will be the first time I've seen it rain really heavily in New York City.

She famously sang about an Umbrella (ella ella). And singer Rihanna sheltered under a giant one as she headed for a night out in the rain in NYC on Sunday.

The 26-year-old singer was careful to avoid getting wet as she glammed up to hit Escuelita Club in the city.

The star straightened her new long rust red locks - probably one of the reasons she was keen not to get them damp - and showed off her impressive figure in a striking ankle length sequinned pencil dress. Check out the video of her arriving and leaving the club last night.

The talented father and singer took to instagram and posted what I call "a cry for help" It's takes a lot of courage to know and fight the demons within. I wish him well.

DAVID OYELOWO: "I'LL NEVER PLAY THE BLACK BEST FRIEND"

David Oyelowo admits that there is one type of role he refuses to play in a film.
The Selma star told NPR that he has turned down parts in films that have called for him to emphasize stereotypes or play a caricature, especially if it's a role defined by being the lead character's "black best friend."


"Don't send me your script if you want me to play the black best friend," Oyelowo said. "I just won't do that."
"You can feel when it's literally an afterthought; you can feel when it's like, 'Oh quick, let's get some color in here,' " he continued. "That I won't do because it's disrespectful and, for me, I'm either part of the solution, or I'm part of the problem."

ENRIQUE IGLESIAS TO UNDERGO RECONSTRUCTIVE HAND SURGERY

Enrique Iglesias is undergoing reconstructive hand surgery in Los Angeles after his fingers were sliced during a recent concert.

His representative said in a statement to the Associated Press that surgery on the 40-year-old singer will be completed Monday.
Iglesias sliced some of his fingers when he grabbed a drone during a concert in Tijuana, Mexico, on Saturday. He was "semitreated" at the side of the stage to stop the bleeding.
