Jennifer first foray into a regular role on scripted television, Shades Of Blue, will not premiere until winter 2016. (Can't wait!)
But the 45-year-old fabulous singer and actress shared an early look at the NBC series via her Instagram account on Tuesday. In the two separate videos, Jennifer and co-star Ray Liotta, 60, discussed their dark, complicated characters.
On Shades Of Blue, Jennifer will star as Detective Harlee Santos, described by NBC as a single mother who 'fell in with a tight-knit group of dirty cops.' She later is trapped by the FBI into informing on her 'brothers' and will 'have to walk the fine line between love, loyalty, honor and betrayal.' Jennifer explained her character's dilemma in the Shades Of Blue video focusing on Santos: 'Good people do questionable things all the time.'
